Our story
Hebed AI began with research. During his Master’s thesis at HES·SO, co-founder Heben Tekleab studied how organizations were quietly adopting external LLMs, the rise of Shadow AI, and the governance gap this created inside regulated environments.
That research became a product when it met the complementary expertise of co-founder Edward Tandia, across product, data and business analysis. Together they set out to give regulated organizations a dedicated, research-backed way to govern AI with confidence.
Today, Hebed AI is developed in Geneva, supported by Innosuisse and in collaboration with HEG Geneva.
Research and learning
Our governance methodology is grounded in applied research. We work with HEG Geneva and its text-mining group to validate how AI usage is detected, scored and mapped to regulation, with the support of the Innosuisse Innovation Cheque.
This research foundation is what lets us offer governance that organizations can cite and evidence, not simply trust.
